Hi, I'm Dr. Melissa Sypulski
Bringing Quality Veterinary Care to your Door Since 2020
Thank you for taking the time to learn about Sypulski Mobile Veterinary Services and what we do. Dr. Sypulski strives to bring quality veterinary care right to your doorstep. As a solo-practitioner, who also answers all of her own messages, Dr. Sypulski tries her best to be present and attentive to all of your pets’ needs.
Sypulski Mobile Veterinary Services provides routine care, such as yearly exams, vaccines, Lyme disease/heartworm/feline leukemia testing, and fecals. We can also diagnose and treat: skin issues, minor wounds (not requiring stitches), urinary tract infections, and ear infections. Dr. Sypulski can send out blood to the lab for non-urgent conditions, as well as manage long-term care of chronic health conditions. We also have a therapeutic laser that allows us to help treat several types of chronic joint problems and wound healing.
The mobile nature to the clinic, does come with its limitations. We are unable to attend to small animal emergencies, surgeries, take x-rays, set IVs, monitor inpatient care, or see same day sick appointments. Dr. Sypulski does work with a local clinic that, when they are able to, can get her patients in for same day care; however, as they have their own patients to attend to, this is not a guarantee. Emergencies should be seen at the appropriate emergency clinics that are equipped to deal with urgent needs.
There's No Place like Home
Dr. Sypulski was raised in the East Brady area. She went to Karns City High School and received her undergraduate degree from Clarion University. After graduating veterinary school, she started working at a mixed animal practice in Erie. A short 9 months after starting her veterinary career, Dr. Sypulski was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer and spent the next 2 years going through treatment. When finally able to return to work, she was very eager to do so. She started at a small animal clinic in the local area but soon realized she wanted to return to doing farm animal medicine as well. This led Dr. Sypulski to starting her own mobile practice, and while the farm animal side of the business has been phased out, she continues to spend her days going to client's homes to take care of their beloved cats and dogs.
